Princess Diana Death, 16 years ago. Scotland Yard to scope new information laid before them...



Princess Diana : What really happened?

 Julian Bray writes:  I am pleased that Scotland Yard is re-opening the files on the untimely death of Princess Diana, some 16 years ago, and I will be making available the full script of a 45 minute detailed lecture I prepared and delivered to many audiences around the world between the years of 2006 and 2013.




The question of how she died has to my own mind never been fully answered and many of the french police documents were not released to the English investigators. Therefore a  large question mark is still hanging over her death, and the deeper I researched the matter the role of 'a military person' was raised and is also discussed..

This is an extract from the lecture script, the full lecture of 45 minutes duration goes into greater detail of what was known and additional information passed to me by several members of the many audiences who attended the original presentations:


After the birth of Prince Harry, Diana lived with a constant fear that she would be murdered.  Those close to her also watched over their shoulders, some were warned off and a few totally severed their relationship with Diana. So you might ask what gives me the right to delve a little further?

 
It was a chance meeting and a conversation with journalist Noel Botham, he’d written a draft of a book suggesting that Diana had been deliberately and coldly assassinated, he had newspapers falling over themselves, throwing cash at him, for a chance to publish extracts, then suddenly the promised serialisation failed to happen.

 

In fact, pressure had been brought to bear from a very great height. The idea was that his book should never see the light of day.  This lecture and others like it helped prove them wrong. The book went to several reprints and others such as John Morgan in Australia have now taken up the baton, the Diana story moves relentlessly on.

 
Despite all Dianas warnings, virtually no one could imagine that her shocking and untimely death could be anything other than a tragic accident. Any doubt or lingering feelings were blown away in a national surge of anger when French Police said that her driver was three times over the legal drinking limit, when he rammed the Mercedes into a concrete pillar.

 
It sent shivers down my spine, as I also had a close encounter with the infamous Alma Tunnel, as a few years earlier, the Sunday Times organised a highly competitive Beaujolais Run, not really a run it was an all out race. And three years later the event was dropped by the Sunday paper as being too dangerous and it’s illegal to race on the UK highway!

 
I very nearly crashed in the same Parisian underpass using a borrowed works Saab turbo rally car. The race was a mad  adventure, I owned a Chelsea wine bar at the time in London and also worked as broadcast journalist for the BBC in London, the race was to simply to get a case of Beaujolais Nouveau- 12 bottles - from Beaune to London in the fastest time.

 
In a trial run, I narrowly missed the very same pillar near the Place la Alma. Eventually the police on both side of the channel stopped the event but Noels research reopened my feelings of what might have been the outcome. 

 
Here for the first time he had dug a little deeper and found a few more pieces to put into this difficult and unfriendly jigsaw.

 
The driver of Dianas car was described by police as being as “drunk as a pig” and there were confirmed traces of drugs in his blood. Newspapers were delighted that a culprit had been identified so quickly and made the French chauffer recklessly driving at 120 miles an hour a monster who caused the death of a much loved icon, but a growing number of investigators believe that was exactly what was intended to be.

   It stopped in its tracks, any serious further investigation by the worlds media and ensured that the heir to the throne Prince Charles was free of any further distress, in short events had turned out just the way certain elements of what the British upper classes call the establishment.

 
The revelation came from the Paris police but new evidence suggests that it was the result of a crisis meeting attended by senior shadowy figures from French government and certainly MI6 involvement.

 
The meeting took place following high level intervention from both UK and French government officials and the brief was to find a single individual who could be blamed for this tragic accident, it went further a single acceptable solution for the crash, involving a single culprit.

 
No complications, no room for doubt and we can all move on. The Paris criminal brigade was put in charge of this investigation.

 
Martine Monteil, a fast track career officer had already learned that Henri Paul the driver that night, had not only worked for MI6 but also for French Intelligence and the French Criminal investigation Department.

 
She was told that Paul had recently banked a very large sum of money in his bank account and on the night over £2,000 was found stuffed in his pockets.

 
All this added up to the ideal solution and one that fitted the so called facts. Talk up the bankings, drink and drugs and the money found in his pockets. The connections with MI6 and French Police could be swept under the carpet.

 
Martine Monteil was under extreme pressure from the top political office in both France and increasingly England. It was said at the time that seven paparazzi photographers were in hot pursuit of the princess and her lover Dodi Fyad.

 Later on on the closing portion of the lecture the question of a military link was raised:

    One photographic agency Laurent Sola had already racked up deals worth millions of pounds for the pictures of the dying princess, when they heard the princess had died, all the pictures were withdrawn, images erased from the computer systems and the originals handed over to the British Embassy. Other agencies also withdrew and in the end not a single intimate picture was released.

There is substantial evidence that many of the people surrounding Diana during her final days had links with the intelligence community, they would have known about Dianas pregnancy and that she would be giving birth to a muslim child.

Rosa Monckton was a close confidante of the princess and many believe she like many other members of her immediate family worked for  MI6 and was reporting back almost daily.

The french examining judges report ran to almost seven thousand pages, but only a truncated seventy page version has ever been seen in the UK. The metropolitan police under the then new commissioner Sir Ian Blair confirmed the order by the Royal Coroner that British police are examining the events leading to the death of Diana Princess of Wales, and his finding of  unlawful killing issued at the end  2006, didn’t really help.   Following which the Royal Coroner re-opened the formal inquest into Diana death.


 But just as this saga has many turns and twists the police commissioner reported in 2006 by the London Daily Telegraph as saying that the police enquiry is and I quote “ far more complex than  any of us thought” Lord Stevens, the police commissioner, also said that some of the issues raised by Mohammed Fayed, the owner of Harrods, whose son Dodi died with the princess  in the Paris car crash in 1997  were “right to be raised” so we should dwell on this for a moment as the whole dynamic of the investigation was clearly ratcheted up a few notches

 
The people who orchestrated the pregnant Dianas death, if by now you accept that view, must feel that the book is almost closed and they have engineered a classic assassination, for the latest in a long line of Royals who have met an untimely end.

The highly respected Barrister Michael Mansfield QC who represents the interests of the Al Fayad family has no doubt that it was murder and now that he has retired from the bar has embarked on several lecture tours “ they  were murdered when a plot to end their relationship violently went too far.”

In this March 2010 edition of the Daily Express the Diana story continues to dominate the headlines, Prince William the spit image of his mother and Prince Harry the spit image of an earlier ginger haired tryst with self confessed cad James Herwitt currently a bar owner in Peurto Banus Mallorca. The ytoung men have both turned out well and continue to command huge respect, they in turn have vowed to keep their mothers memory alive      

So this is probably the right time to wind down our tale and simply say ‘God Bless Diana’ and rest in peace, truly the Peoples Princess, I think Diana will somehow continue to have the last laugh for many decades to come..
