UPDATE: Wednesday September 2nd 2015: The final victim of the plane crash at # airshow is named as 72-year-old James Graham Mallinson. Coroner opened and adjourned inquest, promises full investigation, a preliminary inquest hearing scheduled for March 2016, and the full Coroners Inquest set down for June 2016, hopefully all completed before the first anniversary of the crash in late August.
Julian Bray writes: The huge debris field following the Shoreham Air Show crash ten days ago, is no longer a 'crime scene' Sussex Police has today (Tuesday September 1st 2015) formally handed the Shoreham site back to West Sussex County Council, just ten days after the tragedy.
Assistant Chief Constable Steve Barry said: “We worked hard to complete the formal identification of all victims and we are pleased to have finished the task.
We cannot fully discount any further victims as our search at the scene continues but we now feel this is unlikely. Our investigation continues and we are working closely with the Air Accident Investigation Branch, to provide a report to the coroner.
“I cannot thank the public enough for the way they have come together, we will be supporting community events being organised in memory of those who have died.”
