Malaysia Airlines is refusing passengers checked in luggage for flights to London, Paris and Amsterdam all because of "temporary unseasonably strong head winds".
In place of usual allowances, economy passengers will limited to one seven kilo piece of luggage, while business /first class flyers can take two pieces (total14kg.
"Passengers can still to check in all their luggage their baggage but it will only arrive later," Malaysia Airlines said.
"Malaysia Airlines regrets the inconvenience caused to passengers and will deliver stranded baggage as soon as the situation permits... Malaysia Airlines will continue to assess the changing situation over the region and will update passengers when operations are back to normal.
"Safety remains the centre of the airline’s operations."
