|The former Belgian transport minister Jacqueline Galant|
The Transport Minister had denied ever having seen the report, which was leaked to the media by opposition parties.
The attacks on Zaventem airport and a key Brussels metro station adjacent to the EU building by so-called ISIL left 32 people dead.
Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel had defended Ms Galant, and told parliament that her office had not seen the critical EU report. All this changed on Friday, as public broadcaster RTBF entered the fray, and the publication of further documents on Thursday evening, BPM Michel said that "contrary to what was communicated to me" the report had been discussed, according to RTBF.
