The CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) has secured €4.3million of funding from the European Union's Connecting Europe Facility to encourage the early transition of the UK GA (General Aviation) fleet to 8.33 kHz-capable equipment.
The funding will be distributed by way of reimbursement to aircraft owners or pilots to contribute toward the cost of new radio equipment. For more information on funding and to access the claim form see our 8.33 kHz funding application page.
Before applying, please make sure to read our page about 8.33 kHz radios, and ensure you are eligible for funding.
